Punster warm-up gatherings

For those of you who didn't have a chance (or the guts) to attend last Friday's

informal gathering of punsters at Billy's on Burnet, we've scheduled another one

for this week. (Yes, that's today! May 11)

When I say "informal" I mean just that. There's no agenda, no cover charge, no

speeches or nuttin'. It's just a bit of friendly punslinging over beer, burgers

and onion rings. Calm as you are, I'm sure we'll get you plenty worked up.

Billy's on Burnet is sometimes a thick place on Friday's but we'll secure a

table of some size at about 7pm and hold it until around 10. Find us at 2105 Hancock Drive

(at Burnet Rd.) This will be the second in a series of informal gatherings

designed to allow contestants a chance to get themselves warmed-up.

If response is good, I may even be inspired to announce another informal

gathering sometime next week prior to the big Dinner/Roast on Friday, but I do

still have quite a few things yet on my plate, and most of them aren't burgers.
